What do the most stylish gig goers wear? People who put their own stamp of individuality on an outfit whilst remaining bang on-trend in the process!
What fashion should be avoided at a festival at all costs? On guys and girls alike:...anything reminiscent of old skool rave. No furry boots, rave trousers, fluoro people! Oh and cardinal sin for guys is tops-off. Don’t they realise how off-putting it is?
Top 5 items every girl needs in her bag at a festival? Sunnies, baby-wipes, sun-cream, a cool pak-a-poncho (topshop online and asos.co.uk have great ones!) and Lucas paw-paw ointment.
Performer you think has the most fashion flare and why? In terms of the Parklife line up, SaintSaviour (the female lead singer touring with Groove Armada) rocks, she looked simply amazing at Glastonbury. Check out their YouTube clip!
Tips on staying hydrated? Obviously drink water, go easy on the alcohol, eat some fresh fruit and take breaks between dancing your socks and mary-janes off!
When it comes to international celebrity festival-goers whose fashion style you admire? The queen of effortless festival style is Kate Moss, with Alexa Chung, Pixie Geldof and Sienna Miller all vying for her mantle. Kate Bosworth nails it too - often accessorising her outfit with a hot male!
Stance on face paints at festivals? Depends – if we are talking an artistic flower painted on to compliment a boho-hippy ensemble, that’s cool – but full on avatar / kids party animal faces is just plain weird.
The UK v. Aus. Who has the best festival fashion? It’s a tough call but the UK wins – shops like Topshop and lots of designers are dedicating entire ranges geared towards festival looks and mags are full of hot festival fashion.. .we need more of that over here please! Parklife is the best-dressed festival crowd in Australia, in my humble yet biased opinion (!).
Where do the fashion mob hangout at Parklife? Well there is something for everyone musically at Parklife so the fashion mob will reflect this by being everywhere! We predict Indie chicks rockin’ their denim cut-off shorts, disco belle’s with dreamy boho threads and slick dance-divas demonstrating their experimental edge will be amongst the style conscious crowd at Parklife this year.
Tips for making the most of the festival? Don’t spend all day on your phone trying to find people! Go with the flow and get there early to make the most of a wonderful day, in beautiful surroundings with awesome artists who are there for your enjoyment . Most of all, have fun with your friends and dance, lots!
