DOLLY Team's Beauty Inspiration

30 Days Team
Tuesday, July 12, 2011

We caught up with the team over at DOLLY HQ to get the lowdown on some of their top beauty icons!

Jessica Bailey – Features writer
I love how Lily Collin’s always looks so young and fresh. The actress/model uses minimalist shades and loves to rock a bright lip to make the look pop (without being overstated). Oh and her big darkened brows are to die-for!

Millie Chandler – Features editor
I have always been a beauty devotee of SJP. She can rock a smoky eye, or get away with some light bronzing and a stained lip and she still looks beautiful. I particularly adore how her hairstyles almost always work, even when she takes a risk (a la her latest extreme tease). She’s not afraid of vamping it up, nor is she afraid of playing it down… I love.

Lotta Backlund – Fashion editor
I love Clemence Poesy natural look. She is never overdone, just effortless and fresh.

Tiffany Dunk – Editor
Leighton Meester. I want to sit down for a 101 in make-up with her. She can rock natural AND uber glam with equal ease. She’s not afraid to take a risk and they (almost) always come off!

Edwina Carr – Editorial coordinator
Rachel McAdams is a beauty chameleon. The girl’s managed to rock red hair, brown hair, blonde hair, a whole spectrum of red carpet beauty looks and she’s pulled them off perfectly. She never overdoes it in the make-up department, just accentuates her natural beauty. It doesn’t hurt that she seems like a lovely person too!

Harriet Farkash – Deputy Editor
DOLLY’s beauty writer, Sara, and I are obsessed with Lauren Conrad - no one does winged liner like LC!”
